We don’t talk about perfume enough in this blog. With the arrival of the summer equinox, it’s a perfect time to switch up fragrances. Meet Furze by Lush. I first learned of this scent almost a decade ago during a training session held by the brand. I just recently discovered it when I visited a storefront location, and just had to share my thoughts.

Description
“Shades on your face, sun on your skin, tropical cocktail in hand, ocean breeze blowing through your hair: welcome to your beach vacation fantasy. Furze will take you there with just a breath of its hazy vanilla-coconut scent. Sweet, honeyed neroli and delicately floral, woody mimosa add a sophisticated edge to this summery spritz. It’s the resort-ready look in your perfume wardrobe.“
Review
There’s something distinctly light and relaxing about this perfume. The neroli is uplifting, and the mimosa is calming. It’s woodier than coconut-y. The slight citrus notes, along with the vanilla, make it sweet. Still, there’s something about this perfume that reminds me more of a relaxing outdoor nature walk in the Summer. It’s not overpowering but lasts well (especially on clothing). This is a genuine perfume. A little goes a long way; one spritz will do the trick for all-day wear. This has become a new favorite summer fragrance.
Pros
- Long-lasting
- Pleasant and Summer-y
- Made with minimal ingredients
- Luxurious and recyclable glass bottle
Cons
- Price (on-par with luxury perfumes, but can be costly for those on a budget)
- May not be for those with dislike fruity or tropical scents
I personally love this product and give it an A. Here’s to a sweet summer ahead!
