Sweater weather is here! While I know everything Fall seems to be over-marketed and overblown, I cannot deny my undying love for this time of year. Brightly colored leaves, pumpkins, spooky decorations, and cozy sweaters just do it for me. There’s something comforting and satisfying about it all. I knew I just had to create a guide sharing my personal picks for the season. So grab a cup of joe, get comfy, and let’s get started!
Crazy Rumors Seasonal Flavors
Crazy Rumors makes award-winning and plant-based lip balms. They’re back with their seasonal favorites including Pumpkin Spice, Apple Spice, and Candy Corn. Personally, I’m most excited about the pumpkin and apple flavors. I’ve never liked Candy Corn, but the aesthetic is spot on. Each balm retails for $3.79 or you can grab their Harvest Mix of Apple Spice, Pumpkin Spice, Black Cherry, and Pistachio for $13.99.
Too Faced Pumpkin Spice Palette
Too Faced normally puts out cute seasonal releases during this time of year. I’ve found that their higher quality holiday products come in tin packaging (see last year’s mini Hot Buttered Rum Palette which has TF’s best shadow formula to date) and their yearly Fall pumpkin-inspired, HSN releases. Enter the brand new Pumpkin Spice Limited Edition Warm & Spicy Eye Shadow Palette. Perfectly on brand, the palette smells like pumpkin spice and the packaging looks like pumpkin pie with whipped cream writing. The 18 Fall-y curated shades come in a variety of finishes. It’s priced at $49.00.
Orly Fall 2020 Desert Muse Collection
Orly’s Desert Muse Fall 2020 nail color collection is “inspired by natural desert landscapes and the eclectic people who thrive there.” Ranging from warm clays to cooler-toned cremes, I fell in love with this collection the moment I saw it. Natural, desert tones are popular this time of year. Orly’s products are completely vegan and free from harmful chemicals. My favorite shade is Sagebrush, a dark sage crΓ¨me. The full 6-pack collection is $57.00. Individual shades are $9.50.
Matt & Nat Fran Shoe
Fran by Vegan fashion company, Matt & Nat is a chelsea boot with a high block heel in an olive green shade. This style is on trend and super versatile for the season. Imagine pairing this with jeans or a skirt and tights – adorable! It’s currently on final sale for $70.00.
Angela Roi Hamilton Crossbody [Signet]
I’m not one to suggest purchasing a new purse every season or even every year, but if I could add a new addition to my collection it would be this Hamilton Crossbody bag in gray. Functional with a minimalistic design, this bag was built with micro-pebble leather which is said to be a new material that’s soft and durable. I’m also partial to gray which goes with every season and almost every outfit. This bag retails for $215.00.
Tula x Shawn Johnson So Pumpkin Exfoliating Sugar Scrub
This limited-edition TULA x Shawn Johnson East collaboration seems like a fun combination of Autumn and skin care. This sugar-based scrub polishes and clears out oil and buildup without stripping the skin. It’s also infused with pumpkin that has excellent softening benefits and fruit enzymes to unclog pores. Bonus? It smells like pumpkin spice, of course! This product currently retails for $34.00.
Black Moon Cosmetics Limited Edition Autumn Trio
My love for Black Moon runs deep. Their liquid lipstick formula is super comfortable and smells like vanilla cake. I purchased this set when it was originally released several years ago. Their Autumn Trio includes the shades Cider (a warm dijon mustard yellow), Hazel (a cross between army green and olive green), and Harvest (a muted soft burnt orange with pinkish-red undertones). They double as eyeliner, too. Cider and Hazel mix great together if you’re worried about wearing straight-up green. I highly recommend picking these up before they’re officially gone for good. They’re on sale for $50.00.
